We had a wonderful visit earlier this month with Gail and Dick and their family and friends out on Vancouver Island. We crossed the border at Niagara Falls, drove to Toronto, and stayed overnight there before boarding our non-stop flight to Nanaimo the next day. The following week was filled with family time, hikes in the northwest woods, excursions on Dick and Dave’s boat out of Ladysmith harbor, and feasting together with family and lifelong friends.
